About Dr. Maria Kuty

I have been providing pet care in Santa Cruz, Monterey, and Santa Clara counties since 2000, when I received my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of California, Davis. While I greatly enjoyed the dynamic atmosphere of small animal hospitals, I decided to offer my services in the calmer environment of the home. In 2012, I began operating a mobile service where I offered in-home euthanasia services, helping dogs and cats compassionately transition in the comfort and privacy of their homes. I have found that when it is time to say goodbye, the home environment provides a much more peaceful experience for both my patients and their families.

Away from work, I have two beautiful felines and the family terrier to appreciate. When not home with them, I enjoy exploring the many local trails of our beautiful area on my mountain bike. I also enjoy spending time hiking and camping with family and friends.
